“Thank goodness Trumpcare is not yet law. Injuries from Greg Gianforte assaults are still covered. He should also withdraw from the race, ” Lieu wrote on Twitter.
The tweet comes after Ben Jacobs of The Guardian accused Gianforte of body-slamming him at a campaign event in Montana on Wednesday night, the eve of the special election for the state’s lone congressional seat.
The Gianforte campaign in a statement doubled down on the incident, saying Jacobs exhibited “aggressive behavior.”

“I’m sick and tired of you guys. The last time you came in here you did the same thing. Get the hell out of here. get the hell out of here, ” Gianforte can be heard telling the reporter.
