Disney housekeeper arrested on theft charges: report

A housekeeper at the Walt Disney World Resort has been arrested and charged with theft.
A housekeeper at the Walt Disney World Resort has been arrested and charged with theft, according to a Fox 35 news report.
Mayra Burgos, 35, had been the subject of a “covert corporate investigation” into stealing property from hotel guests, the report said.
Disney staff set up cameras in a room at the Old Key West Resort, put $200 in $20 bills in a nightstand and waited. When Burgos entered the room, she opened the drawer, took $20 and left, the Fox 35 report said.
Orange County deputies arrested Burgos on Tuesday on charges of grand theft, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
