IRVING, Texas — Police say a shooter killed a person at a Dallas-area community college and then committed suicide.
Irving Police says there’s no apparent continuing threat at North Lake College, but police are continuing to search the campus and clear buildings.
North Lake College is a two-year school in the Dallas suburb of Irving.
The college had reported it was on lockdown early Wednesday afternoon, advising people on campus to shelter in place and students and staff to stay away. Video surfaced on social media of a large police presence and people evacuating buildings.
