Ronnie, 69, will need no additional treatment and the upcoming Rolling Stones tour of Europe will not be affected, the representative said.
The operation has taken place a week after his twin daughters turned one, and a week before Ronnie celebrates his own birthday.

The musician will be hitting the 70 milestone on June 1.
‘I’m so grateful for modern screening which picked this up so early, and would like to thank all the doctors who treated me, ‘ Ronnie added.
The lesion was found during a routine medical exam and had been treated by keyhole surgery.
While it was not stated whether or not the lesion was benign or malignant, it would seem that the rocker is clear of any potential worry.
The Rolling Stones are due to start their No Filter European tour in Hamburg, Germany later in the year.
The tour will kick off on September 9 and will visit the likes of Switzerland, Italy, Holland and France.
Ronnie and his wife Sally are proud parents to twins Gracie Jane and Alice Rose.
Yet the couple, who share a 30 year age gap, proved all parents deserve a night off as they headed for a rare night out in London two weeks ago, before the girls’ first birthday.
Ronnie married Sally, the owner of a theatre production company, in December 2012 before announcing they had twins on the way.
After Sally gave birth on 30 May last year and the couple have been living in the bliss of parenthood over the last year – seeming more loved-up than ever.
Sally previously discussed the attraction she felt towards Ronnie and how their romance works so well.
Ronnie is also the father to Jesse, 40, Jamie, 42, Leah, 38 and Tyrone, 33.
She told The Telegraph: ‘He’s on my level completely. He’s a very nice and caring person. Oh God, don’ t use the word “nice”, it’s so boring. He’s very funny, kind and affectionate and welcoming.’
Discussing their age gap, she said: ‘Um, well, I know (the age gap’s) there. And I wish it wasn’ t, but it is. I think I had to say: “I can’ t do this because of the age”,
‘Or I just had to let it go and take it all on board. At no point, years ago, did I say to myself: “I think I’ ll go out with someone twice my age”, but that is what has happened.’
