Action Launcher receives a major update, packing a bunch of new additions and fixes, removing the «3» from the app’s name with a redesigned logo and freeing up some of the paid features.
One of the most popular Android launchers, Action Launcher 3, has just received a major update. This update not only packs new features and fixes but has renamed the launcher too. The name «Action Launcher 3» is now changed to «Action Launcher», removing the «3».
Along with getting a new name, the app has a redesigned logo as a part of the update. The new logo, as shown here, seems to be a combination of «A» and «L», resonating with the name of the app itself.
The launcher has additionally made the pixel features free and default for everyone, which were, previously, only available through a Plus in-app purchase.
The update also brings a new Android O styled animated clock icon, which can be used as a separate widget too.
On top of that, there are a ton of new additions and improvements, like app Shutters and new icon indicators. The complete change log of the June 2017 update is given below.
