BUENA VISTA TWP, MI — A FedEx driver was injured after he apparently rear-ended a garbage truck Thursday morning on a rural Saginaw County roadway.
The driver, who was pinned in his vehicle for at least 20 minutes, was taken from the scene by ambulance with injuries not immediately available.
The crash was reported shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday, June 8, in front of Country Road Kennels, located at 6376 N. Portsmouth Road.
Trash bags could be seen piled near the driveway to the kennel, with the garbage truck pulled slightly off the northbound roadway and blocking the drive.
A Mobile Medical Response supervisor, along with the fire and police departments from Buena Vista Township, were at the scene.
