The aforementioned handsets have received quite a bit of attention, but have yet to land in the United States and other regions.

The OS promises huge improvement to app performance and also battery life w hile also streamlining the development and release of future Android updates, thanks to Project Treble. It is currently unknown when Android O will arrive on handsets officially, but it will most likely arrive when a new Google device is launched towards the end of the year.
