PDFfiller releases API 2.0 – an enhanced platform for embedding the ability to edit, host and sign PDF documents into an app or company website. The new solution incorporates PDFfiller’s intuitive editor and signature manager into applications built with PHP, JS and Java clients.
API 2.0 is designed to make document management simple, fast and secure inside the CRMs and ERPs that companies already use without having to sign up for other services. Developers can incorporate the functionality that covers every aspect of online paperwork into their apps. This includes: an electronic signature manager (SendToSign) , a complete PDF editor and a form builder that turns any document into a fillable form to quickly and securely collect customer data (LinkToFill) .
“As long as businesses utilize HTML based apps, which is nearly every app in existence, businesses can embed PDFfiller directly into their applications, ” said Eugene Gorelik, director of engineering at PDFfiller. “PDFfiller provides a RESTful API for seamless integration with any cloud services via HTTPS protocol.”
Integrations using the PDFfiller API have already hit the market. Released in September 2016, DaDaDocs for Salesforce was the first and so far the only PDF editor and eSignature combination at the AppExchange that allows salespeople to negotiate and close deals with PDF documents without having to leave their Salesforce accounts.
“When our users send their documents to be filled and completed without the hassle of tabbing between applications, emails or a document editor, their expectation is that it all just works, without any kind of complication, ” says Gorelik.
