Blake Shelton has fans swooning over his adorable interaction with Gwen Stefani’s youngest son in a new Instagram photo.
Blake Shelton has been a common presence in the lives of Gwen Stefani’s three boys—Kingston, 11, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 3—for over a year and a half now, and he’s clearly becoming more and more comfortable around his girlfriend’s kids. On July 7, the No Doubt front-woman shared a photo of Blake bonding with Apollo by showing off his silly side. Gwen’s beau was letting the little boy hold an action figure up to his mouth while he pretended like he was about to chomp down on the toy.
As Entertainment Tonight observes, a photo like this is a rare sight on Stefani’s Instagram page; she’s been careful not to share many images of Shelton with her boys. In fact, her sweet snapshot of Apollo and her boyfriend appears to be her first-ever Instagram photo of the two spending time together. This may be why Stefani’s followers are totally freaking out over the picture.
“GWEN STEFANI ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME, ” wrote one of her followers.
“This is a picture that can make anyone having a bad day and turn it into a big smile, ” commented another. “Blake – this shows what kind of dad you are going to be – awesome!!!! This is the best example of what love looks like”
Many fans also commented on Gwen Stefani’s stylish accessories. Her tassel necklace and earrings are similar to some of the jewelry being sold by Blake Shelton’s sister, Endy Intrieri, so it’s possible that they were a gift from the jewelry designer. Endy is even selling a “ Gwen ring ” on her Stella & Dot website, another sure sign that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s families are meshing together really well.
Gwen has also fully embraced the world of country music. She can often be found hanging out backstage at her boyfriend’s concerts, and she recently joined him on his tour bus. The Toledo Blade reports that Blake Shelton performed at Country Concert in Fort Loramie, Ohio on July 6, which is where the couple was headed. Gwen’s brother, Todd, and his wife, Jennifer, came along for the ride, and Blake decided to keep everyone entertained by serenading them with the Oak Ridge Boys song “Trying to Love Two Women.” His girlfriend shared a video of his performance in an Instagram Story, which you can watch below. Blake’s singing starts at the 30-second mark.
“Trying to love two women is like a ball and chain, ” Shelton sings in his girlfriend’s video. “Sometimes the pleasure ain’ t worth the strain.”
Blake Shelton was likely thinking about the Oak Ridge Boys because they also performed at Country Concert. One member of the band, Joe Bonsall, snapped a few photos with Gwen Stefani and shared them on Twitter.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, some fans think that Gwen Stefani is pregnant because another member of the Oak Ridge Boys, William Lee Golden, tweeted his congratulations to Blake Shelton and his girlfriend late last month. Shelton and Stefani haven’ t yet confirmed or denied the speculation.
