A man was killed Tuesday in an accident at Skydive DeLand, according to police.
A man was killed Tuesday in an accident at Skydive DeLand, according to police.
The man was found dead on the ground at the skydiving facility with his parachute deployed, police said.
It does not appear that the parachute malfunctioned, police said.
He was found shortly after 10 a.m.
His name was not released.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
No other information was released.
The incident remains under investigation.
