Everyone in Houston braced for impact as Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the Texas coast. However bizarre seeing an empty grocery store is, METRO Houston gave the city an even weirder sight.

Schools and businesses shut down, concerts were cancelled and people cleared out local grocery stores and gas stations.

However bizarre seeing an empty grocery store is, METRO Houston gave the city an even weirder sight.
According to a tweet on the transportation company’s page, 120 empty buses were lined up in the express lane on Highway 59 in preparation for the storm.
They were trying to get them out of the Kashmere facility, which is apparently a low-lying area. The line of buses took up a little over a mile of the HOV lane.
