Céline Dion, in all her fabulousness, was reportedly asked about her love life during the launch of her handbag collection on Wednesday and instead of simply saying, “No, ” she burst out into Rihanna’s “Diamonds.”
During a Q&A at Browns Shoes in Montreal, a reporter asked, “How are things going? It’s a whole new world for you. You’ re a single woman. How is life?”
She responded, “Are you asking me out?” before singing the Rihanna tune.
The reporter kept pushing and then asked her if she was free tonight. She responded again by singing Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’ , ” but ultimately turned him down, saying she wasn’ t available that night.
Dion, whose husband René Angélil passed away in January 2016, has been linked to one of her dancers Pepe Muñoz, but those claims have been heavily denied.
Clad in a bright pink dress, the 49-year-old songstress did open up about how she was feeling after her husband’s passing.
“I’ m enjoying myself. I went through a lot, ” she told the crowd, “I think sometimes when you go through a lot whether it’s disappointment or a loss for example, there is a force that takes over when you believe.”
