Lowe’s, the home improvement store based in Mooresville, has responded by donating $500,000 to American Red Cross disaster relief.
Here are two ways you can help the helpers:
American Red Cross: Donate online at www.redcross.org or by phone at 1-800-HELP NOW (1-800-435-7669) . Text HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Or send a check by mail to American Red Cross, P. O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
Samaritan’s Purse: Donate online and find information about volunteering to help in the flooded areas at www.samaritanspurse.org. Or send a check by mail to Samaritan’s Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
