Microsoft releases the August update of OneNote for Windows 10

Today, Microsoft released the August update of OneNote for Windows 10, adding a number of new features to the note-taking application, such as Text to Math, Smart Lookup, and more.
Microsoft is beginning to roll out the August update of OneNote for Windows 10 today, nearly six weeks after the July update was made available. Product Manager Lead William Devereux says that it’s “rolling out over time”.
The new version number is 17.8471.5772, and as usual, it contains a range of new features:
Microsoft notes that the key difference between OneNote for Windows 10 and OneNote 2016 is that the Windows 10 application is regularly updated with new features. This used to be because there was a feature disparity between the two apps, but that’s not really the case anymore.
