The Tampa Bay Rays are opening their doors to the Astros in wake of the flooding Hurricane Harvey has caused in Houston.
The Tampa Bay Rays are opening its doors to the Astros as a result of the flooding and devastation caused from Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area.
The Astros-Texas Rangers three-game series beginning Tuesday night was relocated to St. Petersburg, Fla. for safety reasons. The Astros will host the Rangers at Tropicana Field — home of the Rays.
The Rays announced that all ticket, concessions and parking revenues from series will be donated to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Tickets will cost $10 per game with open seating in the lower bowl.
There will be a moment of silence prior to the game held for those impacted, and still affected.
The Astros will be considered the home team throughout the series and occupy Tropicana Field’s visiting clubhouse.
This is believed to be only the fourth time in baseball history that weather concerns have caused the relocation of games to a neutral site, according to information pulled from retrosheet.org.
