Taylor Swift is now what bad dreams are made of.
Taylor Swift is now what bad dreams are made of.
The “Wildest Dreams” singer has switched to bad dreams on her much anticipated first track off her upcoming album “Reputation” on Thursday night and it’s called “Look What You Made Me Do.”
In typical Taylor fashion she doesn’ t mention any names, but does mention that she has a list of names and one is underlined in red.
The reference could be to any of her enemies: Katy Perry, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian or a number of ex boyfriends. However, she does mention not liking a “tilted stage” — which could be shot at Kanye’s stage in his “Saint Pablo” tour.

The same line also disses “little games, ” possibly suggesting the famous phone call leaked by Kim Kardashian regarding Kanye’s use of Taylor Swift’s name in his “Famous” song.
“I don’t like the role you made me play. Of the fool, ” she says. “No, I don’ t like you, ” she continues before repeating “Look what you made me do” over and over.
Swift uses a phone call recording at the end of the single, saying “I’ m sorry, the old Taylor can’ t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, because she’s dead.”
More of the lyrics appear to show Tay reinventing herself.

“I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time, ” Swift quickly sings in the chorus. She even says she doesn’t trust anybody and that no one trusts her, either.
“I’ll be the actress starring in your BAD DREAMS, ” the Grammy-winning songstress shouts.
As many suspected, Swift, 27, references what appears to be the media (her album cover features a ton of news print over her face) .
“The world moves on another day, another drama, but not for me all I think about is karma the then the world moves on, but one things for sure: Maybe I got mine but you’ ll all get yours.”
People are going nuts because Taylor Swift is dropping new music
The song was co-written with Bleachers front man Jack Antonoff and features a take on “I’ m Too Sexy” from the dance band Right Said Fred, who are listed as co-producers on the single.
Swift announced “Reputation” on Wednesday after blacking out her social media accounts and sharing an image of a snake. The snake emoji was used against Swift in the past, both when Kim Kardashian leaked the phone call between the singer and Kanye West and again after Swift announced she helped write ex Calvin Harris’ song “This Is What You Came For.”
The snakes reappeared in her lyric video for the new single and are a huge part of her merchandise for the album, including two snake rings that are for sale for $60.
“Reputation” is due out on Nov. 10.
