President Trump accused the press of ignoring Saturday’s unanimous vote by the United Nations Security Council to impose sanctions on North Korea.
“The Fake News Media will not talk about the importance of the United Nations Security Council’s 15-0 vote in favor of sanctions on N. Korea!” the president tweeted Monday afternoon.
The UN Security Council unanimously passed a resolution, drafted by the U. S. in consultation with China, that imposed new sanctions on the North Korea in response to its recent intercontinental ballistic missile tests last month.
