The woman attended a Decapitated concert in Spokane, Wash., and told police she was kidnapped.
Four members of the Polish death metal band Decapitated are accused of kidnapping a Washington state concertgoer while on its “Double Homicide” tour.
Cops in California busted the bandmates early Saturday after their Friday night performance wrapped up in Santa Ana, according to Spokane authorities.
Spokane police Cpl. Teresa Fuller said the woman attended their concert at The Pin venue in Spokane the night of Aug. 31 and reported her kidnapping hours later around 2 a.m.
She was not immediately identified and it’s unclear where she was taken during the alleged kidnapping.
Police identified the arrested performers as Polish nationals Michal Lysejko, 27, Waclaw Kieltyka, 35, Rafal Piotrowski, 31, and Hubert Wiecek, 30. The group is being held on kidnapping charges at the Los Angeles County Jail pending their extradition back to Spokane.
Spokane-based lawyer Steve Graham, who is representing the band, said the victim visited the metal musicians willingly and “left on good terms.”
“There is another side to this, ” Graham told The Spokesman-Review.
He told the paper that the group offered to surrender to authorities.
Since the alleged kidnapping, members of Decapitation had shows in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, B. C. The group was slated to perform at the Gramercy Theatre in New York on Sept. 21.
