Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Griswold Street Baptist Church.
The investigation into the crash that killed a local paramedic and firefighter is ongoing, said St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon.
Donnellon said investigators have to wait for toxicology results in the crash that killed 36-year-old Jon-Marc Chandler on Tuesday morning.
Police have said Chandler was southbound on Wadhams Road near Tripp Road when he was struck by a northbound pickup driven by a 45-year-old St. Clair Township man. The man, a child and dog in his vehicle, were not injured.
Chandler was a paramedic with Tri-Hospital EMS for nearly 14 years as well as a firefighter for Fort Gratiot since May 2011. He is survived by his wife and two children.

According to his obituary, Chandler was a 1999 Port Huron High School graduate and made many mission trips to Mali, Africa.
“Jon-Marc loved life and loved serving people. Above all, he was a wonderful family man who loved being a dad,” his obituary reads.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

In May, Chandler was honored with a Star of Life award from the Michigan Association of Ambulance Services in Lansing for his work.
