Nvidia releases GeForce 387.92 WHQL drivers; fixes Windows 10 Night light

Newer WHQL GeForce Game Ready drivers have been released for Windows 7,8,8.1, and all flavors of Windows 10, including an updated one for Insider builds fixing annoying issues people were having.
Nvidia has released its latest WHQL-certified Game Ready drivers, which bump up the version to 387.92 from the 385.69 WHQL drivers released only a few weeks ago.
This release focuses on improvements to the Middle Earth: Shadow of War series that will be released today – Nvidia is still giving away a free copy of the game on Steam, redeemable via its GeForce Experience suite. All you have to do is buy one of the company’s two high-end GPUs, the GTX 1080 or the GTX 1080 Ti. Details on how to redeem a copy, which will remain open until Oct 16th (or until supplies last) can be found here.
In addition, Nvidia claims that this driver introduces « performance improvements of between 15-25%, depending on your system configuration, in the recently-released Forza Motorsport 7. » If you’re thinking of getting the game, which rated highly here at Neowin, you can read our review of Forza Motorsport 7 here .

And finally, for those that have been installing Insider builds of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, you may be pleased to know that Night light and f.lux issues have been fixed with this driver, so you should be able to safely update. Previous unreleased GeForce drivers that were force installed with each Insider build (v387.68 and 387.78) broke a number of features within games and other apps.
