We have an official list of The Game Awards nominees in 2017, and we guarantee that it is the best list so far.
The big 4 ( the biggest games in 2017) – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon, Destiny 2 and Super Mario Odyssey each has 6 nominations. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has five nominations, Persona 5 has four nominations, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus has also four nominations. Cuphead is also nominated four times, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has three nominations. Nintendo has on its plate 23 nominations and has the most nominations of all publishers.
The nominees are selected by a jury of 51 media and influencer outlets. You can vote now for most categories, and the fans can vote through the official website of The Game Awards, or on social media.
This event which is hosted by Geoff Keighley will happen on Thursday, December 7,8:30 PM ET/5:30 PM PT. There will be a stream on most platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, Twitter, Mixed and via Steam, Xbox Live and PS Network.
