Hallmark’s newest Countdown to Christmas movie, The Mistletoe Inn, is about an aspiring novelist who finds love when she goes on a writing retreat. Hallmark has a wonderful way of filling their movies with Christmas magic, snow, and a wintry feel no matter when or where they’re filmed. But that special retreat where our main character discovered love won’t be found in the United States. Like many Hallmark movies, this film was shot in Canada.
The Mistletoe Inn was filmed in Canada, including in Vancouver (Langley specifically) and British Columbia .
BC is such a popular location for Christmas films that What’sFilming referred to it in August as being in “a perpetual state of Christmas.” Hallmark also filmed A Gift to Remember and The Christmas Train in BC around the same time.
