It’s the final few days of the month and AdDuplex has shared their report for the month. The latest report focuses on the deployment of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and PC manufacturers shares in different markets. The report shows a strong adoption rate for the latest Fall Creators Update. The data was collected using 5,000 Windows apps that use AdDuplex SDK.
The report shows that 53.6% of the Windows 10 devices are already running Fall Creators Update followed by 33.7% people running Creators Update. Unfortunately for Microsoft, there are still 0.5% people running Threshold and 1.3% are still on Threshold 2 or the November Update.
AdDuplex also shared the adoption rate of Windows 10 versions after their public release and it looks like Windows 10 Fall Creators Update has beaten other versions here as well. This is definitely a good sign for Microsoft as they prepare to release Redstone 4 in Spring 2018.
AdDuplex shared the data based on countries adoption as well and it looks like Europe and North America are leading the race with over 60% adoption rate followed by Asia. Africa and South America are slower than others with just 30% adoption rate.
Lastly, they shared the market share of PC manufacturers by different markets where HP and Dell dominate most of the market followed by Lenovo, Asus. Other brands on the list include Acer, MSI and Toshiba. The order differs in different markets but overall HP and Dell are the leaders in every market.
