A Christmas Day fire in Queens left two people injured and three families homeless, officials said.
The blaze broke out on the second floor of a two-story house on 114th street near 95th Avenue in Richmond Hill just before 1 a.m. according to the FDNY.
A 63-year-old man was in serious condition from smoke inhalation and a 50-year-old woman suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital, authorities said.
The American Red Cross responded and will assist the displaced families.
The cause of the fire is still under investigations, cops said.
