Images for the new Ship, Sparrow, and Ghost shell coming to Destiny 2’s next Iron Banner seemingly surface online following a leak on the game’s official subreddit.
Not too long ago, Bungie game director Christopher Barrett took to his official Twitter account to address ongoing complaints aimed at Destiny 2, including fans’ issues with the Eververse Trading Company and vault space. The developer also decided to tweet out promises that the next Iron Banner will receive a new themed Ship, Sparrow, and Ghost shell, and now it seems as if images of the three items have surfaced online thanks to a leak in the game’s official subreddit.
As seen in the images below courtesy of the Redditor and Guardian known as “vitfall,” the potential Ship, Sparrow, and Ghost shell for Destiny 2‘s next Iron Banner look legitimate considering the color scheme of Lord Saladin’s armor, his golden wolf emblem, and a tracing of the Ironwood Tree and its branches can be found on each. Of course, all of the pictures could simply be elaborate fakes, but taking into account the high quality of the stills and how close the skins’ design styles resemble that of Bungie’s, they are likely real.
The leak of the above images comes just days after other fans discovered even more assets for what’s to come in Destiny 2, as a purported datamine of the game’s latest file update revealed new information regarding the next DLC, including the destination, enemies, and story mission count. Not to mention, another leak pointed toward the title’s second Raid Lair being named “Prison of Nightmares,” with it being set exclusively in Calus’ Shadow Realm.
Bearing all of this in mind, it looks as if Bungie is already working on even more content to keep Destiny 2 fans sated, but it’s a safe bet to make that most of the game’s player base would prefer if the studio began the process of lessening the presence of Tess Everis and the Eververse Trading Company instead. After all, the launch of D2‘s winter event, The Dawning, rubbed many Guardians the wrong way due to much of the event’s loot being locked behind a paywall, which then led to the game’s official forum being flooded with posts to remove the Eververse.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
