The device falls in the budget handset segment and competes with some of the already-popular rivals, including the Moto G5S Plus and the Xiaomi Mi A1. Based on the price and specifications, all three can be pitted against each other. So before you plan to buy any of the three smartphones, here is a short spec-wise comparison between them. Android OS and UI
When it comes to the user interface, Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Moto G5S Plus have stock Android UI, which is simple and clean. The Mi A1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and so does the Moto G5S Plus. Both are likely to get the OS updates simultaneously. A difference of few days might be there. Honor 7X runs EMUI 5.1-based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The UI is slightly more complex and the company may take some time to roll out OS updates to this handsets
Display
With Moto G5S Plus you get a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Mi A1 also has the same display specifications as the Moto G5S Plus. Honor 7X, however, has a larger 18:9 aspect ratio display with full HD + (1080×2160 pixels) resolution IPS display. This may be slightly more engaging than those found in the Mi A1 and the Moto G5 S Plus.
Processor
Like the display, the processor is also the same with the Moto G5S Plus and Xiaomi Mi A1. They both come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Honor, like always, has its own octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor. All three have 4GB RAM, which is enough to run all the basic apps.
Storage
On the storage front, all three smartphones come with 64GB inbuilt space. But Honor 7X is additionally available in 32GB inbuilt storage. Nonetheless, all three support microSD card with up to 128GB (Moto G5S Plus and Xiaomi Mi A1) or 256GB (Honor 7X).
Camera
The Xiaomi Mi Ai has dual 12MP rear cameras (wide+telephoto) along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Moto G5S Plus comes with dual 13MP rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera. The Honor 7X too has a dual rear cameras with 16MP and 2MP sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Battery
When it comes to battery capacities, Honor 7X leads the way with 3340mAh battery, followed by Xiaomi Mi A1 that comes with 3080mAh battery and Moto G5S Plus, which has a 3000mAh battery.
Price
Price is one of the main factors that decide the fate of the smartphone. Out of the trio, the Honor 7X is the cheapest as it starts from Rs 12,999. The 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 15,999. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is priced at Rs 14,999, while the Moto G5S Plus costs Rs 15,999.
