Today, Microsoft released its first new Windows 10 for PCs Insider Preview build to the Fast ring in almost a month’s time. It contains a ton of new features, like the previously announced Timeline.
It’s been nearly a month since we saw a new Windows 10 Insider Preview build, with 17046 arriving on November 22. Since then, Microsoft has confirmed that features like Timeline – which was previously announced at Build in May – and Sets are coming soon.
While new builds have been pushed back time and time again, today the company finally released build 17063 to the Fast ring, introducing a ton of new features. Here’s what’s new:
Obviously, Microsoft’s over 5,000-word changelog describes a ton of new features. Presumably, this is the bulk of the new features that we’ll see in the currently unnamed Redstone 4 update, which we’ll just refer to as version 1803. The good news is, of course, is that enthusiasts will have plenty of new stuff to play with over the holiday vacation.
And if it’s not entirely obvious, you shouldn’t expect to see any new builds in the Fast ring until 2018.
