MUSKEGON, MI – A 16-year-old was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after her car struck a former school building in Muskegon Monday afternoon.
The female driver was alone in the car when the crash occurred on Park Street between Southern and Forest avenues, according to a spokesman for the Muskegon Police Department.
Her vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the former Craig School, the spokesman said. The teen was alone in the vehicle.
The former school building sustained damage but nothing structurally significant, he said.
