Trump Today: President says China ‘caught red-handed,’ bashes Vanity Fair

President Donald Trump was back on Twitter Thursday.
This column provides a daily update on key presidential actions as well as comments, whether spoken aloud or on Twitter, by President Trump. The president on Thursday accused the “red handed” Chinese of selling oil illegally to North Korea, celebrated “record” retail sales and took another potshot one of his least favorite magazines.
Caught RED HANDED – very disappointed that China is allowing oil to go into North Korea. There will never be a friendly solution to the North Korea problem if this continues to happen!
Interesting choice of words. Did China do it? News reports from South Korea show satellite images of Chinese ships allegedly delivering oil to North Korean counterparts at sea. Yet the Chinese government called the reports untrue.
The U. N. recently approved new sanctions sharply limiting North Korean access to oil and related products in response to its nuclear testing. Trump has pressed the Chinese, the biggest suppliers of North Korea, to crack down or risk ruptured relations with the U. S.
In a later tweet, Trump linked to an interview with Tim Russert in which he basically said: I told you so.
