You can’t be serious?
Michael Wolff has been dealing with criticism of his tell-all book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which details President Donald Trump’s first year in office, and he said that while there may be some mistakes, “If it rings true, it is true.”
Since Wolff’s book was released last Friday, many have pointed out blatant errors in it. When confronted Monday by MSNBC’s Katy Tur about how people quoted in the book have since gone on record to say they were misquoted, Wolff said they are lying.
“People are scrambling, and they are panicked,” he said.
Wolff went on to say he will not release the tapes he has on people to prove otherwise: “My evidence is the book.”
“Read the book,” he continued. “If it makes sense to you, if it strikes a cord, if it rings true, it is true.”
“I read it, a lot of this stuff… did feel true,” Tur responded. “There were a lot of factual errors as well.”
When the interview ended, Tur congratulated Wolff on the now infamous book: “Congratulations on the book and congratulations on the president hating it.”
