Mitt Romney changes Twitter location from Massachusetts to Utah

Mitt Romney hasn’t said anything about vying for a seat in the Senate, but a change on his Twitter account is making many think he will.
Mitt Romney hasn’t said anything about vying for a seat in the Senate, but a change on his Twitter account is making many think he will.
The former Massachusetts governor adjusted his location on his account from the Bay State to Holladay, Utah, where he moved after his presidential campaign in 2012.
The change came about hours after longtime Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch announced he would not seek re-election and would retire at the end of the year.
Romney posted a message on his Facebook page saying he joined “the people of Utah in thanking (his) friend.”
“As the longest-serving Republican senator in U. S. history, Sen. Hatch has represented the interests of Utah with distinction and honor. Ann and I wish Sen. Orrin Hatch and his loving wife Elaine all the best in their future endeavors.”
Hatch’s exit paves the way for Romney, a critic of President Donald Trump, to make a run to be a part of the Senate.
