At 6:30 a.m., officers were serving a warrant in a neighborhood in Dauphin County when dozens of shots began ringing out, ABC 27 reported. The district attorney’s office confirmed that officers had been wounded and were transported to the hospital, but did not say if they suffered gunshot wounds.
The suspect was reportedly in the home in which the officers were serving the warrant. However, officials have not yet released any information about the suspect or confirmed if he is in custody.
A press conference has been scheduled for later Thursday.
