MANILA — A strong earthquake stuck off the sea of Davao Occidental early morning Sunday.
According to Phivolcs, the magnitude 5.0 quake struck at 2:35 AM 217 kilometers in the waters southeast off the province of Sarangani.
Another quake, measuring magnitude 3.1, hit the area at 4:07 AM.
No tsunami warning was issued, and no casualties or damage to property has been reported.
