George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Judd Apatow, Steven Spielberg and other celebs are supporting Parkland shooting survivors and the March for Our Lives rally by donating money to the movement.
I’ve always felt that one of the most devastating states of mind is the absence of hope. And that is a condition that envelops a goodly number of people everywhere. And when you make drama of that condition, it’s almost as if words are not necessary.
I fuse things, from doing this role and that role, roles that have nothing to do with being like, Latin. I’m more concerned, as I get older, with the story. I’m more like, ‘Give me a good story,’ then I’ll work from there.
Work is consoling and gives you strength, but without your family, who needs you? [Our son] Sean gave me the drive to survive. Some days, I felt life wasn’t worth it, but it was important that I stay around for Sean. Or he would have lost two parents.
Making things in all sorts of ways is what I love to do. It’s my therapy, it’s my everything. I just can’t wait around for someone to hire me.
