Xur is back once again to offer a set of exotic armor, a weapon, and a useful consumable. Find out what items he is selling in our weekly Destiny 2 report.
While Destiny 2 prepares to launch its Crimson Days event next week and a new update that will change Nightfall Strikes, it’s still business as usual for the main game. More specifically, Xur is back to offer players a selection of exotic armor and one weapon, as well as a few consumables.
This week, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on the destination Io. Look for him in the Giant’s Scar section of the map, tucked inside a cave towards the bottom left after entering the large open area.
Xur’s exotic armor inventory for this week includes the Raiden Flux chest piece for Hunters, the Synthoceps gauntlets for Titans, and the Karnstein Armlets gauntlets for Warlocks. These three items should be relatively familiar to regulars of Xur since they are not from the new Curse of Osiris inventory.
Some might find it a bit funny that Xur is selling three PvP focused exotic armor pieces the week after Iron Banner, but that seems to be the Agent of the Nine’s M. O. For those that don’t have any of the pieces, the Raiden Flux chest piece is very useful for Arcstrider fans (there should be more once the Sandbox update releases) and the Synthoceps help give Titans a little more punching range.
For the first time in Destiny 2, Xur is selling the Jade Rabbit scout rifle, a returning exotic weapon from Destiny 1. This may be the first time that a lot of players are able to get ahold of a Jade Rabbit, as it was a PS4 exclusive item back when it released in D1. Unfortunately, while the weapon was a solid PvE and PvP option in the past, its D2 counterpart is a little more lackluster.
