Domestic handset maker Karbonn has launched a smartphone called the Titanium Jumbo 2 in India. The handset comes bundled with offers from telecom operator Airtel to give cashback to customers.
Price and availability
The Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 is priced at Rs 5,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India website. Airtel is offering a cashback of Rs 2,000, bringing down the effective price of the device to Rs 3,999.
Customers will have to make the down payment of Rs 5,999 for the device. To claim the cash refund benefit, users will need to get recharges worth Rs 3,500 within the first 18 months, after which the first refund installment of Rs 500 will be credited to the customers’ account. After this, another Rs 3,500 of recharges over the next 18 months will entitle the user to the second refund installment of Rs 1,500, making the total cashback to Rs 2,000.
Specifications
The key highlight of the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 lie with its 4000mAh that is claimed to last for a stand by time of up to 400 hours and talk time of up to 16 hours. Besides this, the handset also boasts of a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera.
The device has a 5.5-inch HD IPS full lamination 2.5D curved display of 720x1280p resolution. Featuring a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. For those who would have more storage needs, the handset has an additional microSD card support of up to 64GB. Available in Black, Champagne and Coffee colour options, the device offers Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and 4G VoLTE.
