Investigators said the shooting was reported to police around 6 a.m. at 3950 Hollister St. in northwest Houston. A male resident in his 40s walked outside of his apartment, met with a man and a woman and gunshots were fired, police said.
Those two were taken into custody, police said.
It’s unclear what kind of meeting they were having, or if an argument broke out when the shots were fired, police said. After the shooting, officials said the man and woman were seen walking away from the scene.
The address is that of an apartment complex, Summercrest Apartments, investigators said.
The victim was shot multiple times and was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he died, police said.
