Apple came up with the Animoji which utilizes facial recognition. Samsung came up with its own variation of the design with their AR Emoji. Anyone who has ever touched a phone for anything more than making calls will have reached a point in their life when mere words fail to express what they really feel. Emojis filled the void that was created within people by giving them the tools they need to effectively communicate their feelings of anguish, hatred or happiness or emotions of any other variety they never knew the shape of until after a prolonged exposure to emojis.
Just like emojis filled the void words were unable to express, the continued use of emojis created a hunger for a more nuanced and expressive means of communication.
