Since, the confirmation of the launch, various leaks and rumours about the smartphone were spotted online. Now, a new concept video surfaced on the internet offering a closer look at the smartphone. Moreover, the video also highlights that the OnePlus 6 might come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The render video has been posted on YouTube by a channel named Science and Knowledge. The video shows the smartphone from different angles. It also highlights that the OnePlus 6 could sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is interesting to note that Chinese smartphone maker Vivo was the first company to showcase the in-display fingerprint technology. However, it didn’t include that to its flagship smartphone Vivo V9.
Along with this, the OnePlus also resembles like the iPhone X in terms of its design aesthetics. The video suggests that the smartphone will sport an iPhone X-like notch screen design and dual rear camera setup placed vertically.
The leaked video also reveals that the OnePlus 6 will come in three different colour options — Black, Red and Blue.
The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor. It is also expected that the smartphone might run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and it could also get Android P update.
Recently, a Chinese website also reported the price of the upcoming smartphone. If the report is to be believed then the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the OnePlus 6 will cost $749. This new cost will make the smartphone 50% expensive as compared to its predecessor OnePlus 5T. However, when compared to the other flagship smartphones available in the market — iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9+ the smartphone is cheaper.
