Randy Evans, a senior video & media director/editor at DICE, decided to get us very excited last weekend when he said that the reveal trailer for this year’s Battlefield game is underway. He’d obviously gotten the go-ahead from the higher-ups at both DICE and EA. We’re guessing the same can’t be said about today’s news – if it’s true of course.
Annonymous sources close to the project told GamesBeat that this year’s Battlefield game is called Battlefield V, and that it’ll take us back (or is it forward?) to World War II. The below image, sourced on Reddit, seems to back up the claim.
It seems like their sources haven’t said anything new besides that, but we think that this will be more than enough to either disappoint or please most of you. Which side do you land on?
