Samsung has opened the official support page for the Galaxy Note 9. However, you will find the support page only on some country-specific websites of Samsung. Apparently, the Galaxy Note 9 carries the model number SM-N960U.
Samsung may launch the Galaxy Note 9 as early as July or August, a report coming from South Korea has suggested. The company has probably taken this decision to avoid being overshadowed by Apple’s 2018 lineup of iPhones. While we are still waiting for an official confirmation, the report may just turn out to be legit.

Apparently, the Galaxy Note 9 carries the model number SM-N960U. As reported by Androidu.ro, the support page for the flagship phablet has been spotted on Samsung’s North Africa and South Africa websites.
The page shows that the Galaxy Note 8 is associated with the SM-N960U model number. For those who are unaware, the U at the end suggests the presence of a Snapdragon 845 processor. If you are wondering, the Exynos-powered variant will come with a different model number.
The official support page doesn’t any specifications or features of the Galaxy Note 9. However, it does give a hint that the device may get launched earlier than usual this year.
The Galaxy Note 8 recently visited Geekbench, where some of its key specs are listed. According to the benchmark, the phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor. The chipset is paired with the chipset is 6GB RAM, just like the newly launched Galaxy S9+.
The Geekbench listing further showed that the Galaxy Note 9 currently runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The phablet scored 8806 points in multi-core test and 2190 points in single-core test.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the Galaxy Note 9 is believed to come with a large 6.38-inch OLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Initially, it was widely rumored that the phablet would come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, known research analyst at KGI Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo thinks that is not going to be the case.
Meanwhile, the 128GB variant of Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been launched in India.
