The Xbox One Sea of Thieves bundle is just $259.99
Remember earlier this month when eBay ran a “pre-spring” sale for 20 percent off everything on the site? Well, today is the first day of spring, and eBay is offering another coupon code — this time for 15 percent off (almost) anything on eBay’s marketplace. (The only restrictions are on real estate and gift cards.)
We noted during the last sale that it was rare to see an eBay discount that wasn’t confined to a few select stores, so to have two in one month is new for the site. It’s possible that this is part of eBay’s push to move away from online auctions and become an ecommerce competitor to sites like Amazon and Walmart. In fact, several large retailers like Best Buy, Newegg and even Nintendo now have official eBay storefronts.
Most retailers, including many eBay shops, are including the just-released game Sea of Thieves for free with an Xbox One purchase. Using the code you can grab an Xbox One S plus Sea of Thieves for just $254.99, the lowest price we’ve seen on this bundle. (Reminder that those who are picking up an Xbox One X can get Sea of Thieves for free through Microsoft; the eBay deal is for the non-X console.)
A Lenovo Curved Gaming Monitor, already on sale from $599.99 to $399.99, gets an additional $50 off, which is the maximum discount you can get with this coupon. A factory refurbished New Nintendo 3DS XL is down to $136. Prepaid gaming cards aren’t included in the gift card restrictions, so you can sign up for Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus memberships at a 15 percent discount.
