Rare releases a full list of 60 riddle-based achievements (for a total of 1,000 points) for upcoming PC and Xbox One co-op pirate game, Sea of Thieves.
Sea of Thieves developer Rare has published a full list of the game’s 60 achievements (for a total of 1,000 points), but with a special pirate-y twist. Rather than explaining what players have to do to unlock the achievement, each one has been presented as a riddle. This adds a bit of fun to achievement hunting and lines up well with the upcoming co-op pirate game‘s riddle-filled quests.
Sea of Thieves achievements have been divided into four categories: gameplay, legend (commemorating favorite moments during development), trading company, and commendation.
Commendation achievements also double as Pirate Titles, and are unlocked when certain deeds are done within the game, such as completed a certain number of voyages or earning a particular amount of gold. These achievements range in difficulty from Grade 1 through Grade 5 and upon unlocking the fifth and final grade of Commendation in each set, a matching Pirate Title is awarded.
Rare has also created beautiful custom art for each achievement, which is a welcome feature on Xbox One, as players can set an achievement’s artwork as a home background when it is unlocked.
