Trump said in a speech in 2011, “So easy. I drop a 25 percent tax on China.”
“And you know I said to somebody that is really the messenger — the messenger is important. I could have one man say ‘We’re going to tax you 25 percent’ and I can say another, ‘Listen your motherfuckers, we’re gonna tax you 25 percent.’”
“You’ve said the same exact thing, but it’s a different message,” he added.
