And the company confirmed in a teaser video today that it will be launching along with a special edition of OnePlus 6 Avengers Infinity War Edition. But while you wait for the phone, there was something else that OnePlus offered its fans. It offered a free ticket and complimentary popcorn for the screening of Avengers Infinity War in 10 cinema halls in the country. There were 6000 free tickets that went live on OnePlus.in this morning at 10 am. Tickets were sold out within 30 minutes of going live.
In the recently released teaser, posted on YouTube, users can catch the first glimpses of the OnePlus 6 x Marvel Avengers Limited Edition, where it makes an appearance alongside the Marvel superheroes. The teaser hints that this variant of the OnePlus 6 will come with 19:9 display and a unique textured back.
The ticket giveaway is part of OnePlus campaign for the special Avengers Infinity War edition of the OnePlus 6 that will be launched in the coming weeks in India. For the special edition OnePlus 6, the company has tied up with Marvel Studios. This is similar to the earlier OnePlus partnership that saw the company working with Disney to launch a special version of the OnePlus 5T called Star Wars Edition last year. At the time of the release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi, OnePlus had given away 10000 free tickets to its fans.
“Two words: Free and exclusive. Were sending 6000 complimentary tickets to screenings of Avengers: Infinity War your way. These tickets will be out at 10 AM on the 26th of April, so mark your calendars,” OnePlus noted on the website to its community.
While you go seek the free Avengers ticket, it is important to note that the offer is only available to people who already have a OnePlus phone. If you are already using a OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 5 or any other OnePlus phone, here is what people had to do to get the free Avengers ticket.
1- Only the OnePlus fans from Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune and Ahmedabad were eligible for the tickets. That is unless you are willing to catch a flight to see the Avengers movie in one of these cities.
2- To register for the free ticket, go oneplus.in and register your OnePlus phone IMEI number. If had earlier registered your phone with OnePlus, this step can be skipped.
— Go to Avengers: Infinity War ticket giveaway page, click “Get It” button and then select your city. This will generate a voucher code, although it will depend on availability. There are only 6000 tickets available. (This depends on availability).
— Click on the link to Paytm site and use the ticket coupon code to get the ticket after choosing from the available shows.

— Checkout. During the checkout on Paytm, Re. 1 will be charged as token fee. OnePlus says that this for the complimentary snacks including popcorn and a cold drink that you will get when you are watching the movie. The Re 1 will refunded as cashback in the same Paytm account within 24-48 hours.
