The Galaxy Note series can be said to be the most successful stylus-toting phones ever released. This year, Samsung will be releasing the 8th gen-model called the Galaxy Note 9.
There have been details of the Galaxy Note 9 floating around, from specs to design to benchmark results. Notwithstanding, a “new” info about the device has been released online by Evan Blass.
In a tweet by the leaker, it is revealed that the Galaxy Note 9 is codenamed Crown.
This is actually not new info. Earlier this year, the guys at XDA Developers published the codenames for 26 unreleased Samsung devices. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ which were not yet released at that time are two of the flagship devices on the list. The other two are the Galaxy S9 Active and the Galaxy Note 9.

The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to come with a 6.4” display, a Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It is also rumored to pack a 4,000mAh battery and even have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
If the fingerprint scanner rumor turns out to be false, we can at least expect it to move to a better position just like that of the Galaxy S9/S9+.
