WEST VALLEY CITY — West Valley City police said Sunday afternoon that a “male suspect is deceased” following an officer-involved shooting.
The shooting occurred at 3580 S. Jenelles Bay (2140 West), the agency reported via Twitter just after 4:40 p.m.
An officer-involved critical incident team from Unified police was sent to the scene, West Valley police said.
No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
