It seems Moto Z3 Play will be reminiscent of the previously launched Moto Z2 Play, as far as the design is concerned.
Earlier reports had hinted that Motorola will be launching a new smartphone, aka the Moto Z3 Play in April, but sadly that didn’t happen. Instead, there’s still no word from the company on when the smartphone will be launching. However, we expect the phone to go official probably by the end of this month or the beginning of next. Ahead of the launch, a new render of the Moto Z3 Play has now leaked online showing off the phone in all its glory. Going by the leaked render it seems Moto Z3 Play will be reminiscent of the previously launched Moto Z2 Play, as far as the design is concerned.
We have already come across several renders of the Moto Z3 Play earlier. But, the new render that surfaced online this time shows the phone from both front and back and reveal the complete design detail. Not only that, it also reveals the side design details of the smartphone. The right side includes the power button, while the left side consists of the volume and the power buttons.
By looking at the leaked render leaked by Evan Blass on Thursday, the first thing that you’ll notice is the circular dual rear camera module, just as the Moto Z2 Play. As for the camera specifications, earlier reports had revealed that the Moto Z3 Play will come with two cameras on the rear, consisting of 12-megapixel primary sensor and 8-megapixel sensor. While on the front the smartphone is expected to come with a 5-megapixel sensor. The rear camera set up on the Moto Z3 Play is followed by the Motorola brand logo. It is also worth noting that, this is for the first time that Motorola will be introducing a dual camera setup to its Play series. Apart from the dual cameras, the rear panel is also seen come with magnetic strips on the bottom to attach Moto Mods.
The render shows the Moto Z3 Play with a glass back panel. Earlier reports had hinted that the Moto Z3 Play will come with fingerprint sensor support, however, that’s not what the leaked render reveals. The new render shows no fingerprint sensor at all. Going by the render, the design of the Moto Z3 Play looks reminiscent of the previously launched Moto Z2 Play. However, the image shows that the bezels on the upcoming phone – Z3 Play are much thinner than the Moto Z2 Play.
On the front, the render shows the selfie camera and the earpiece sitting on the top of the screen, while the bottom bezel is carved with the word “Motorola”. We can also see a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the phone. The bottom of the frame will house a USB Type-C port and it appears the phone will not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
