After being dropped off at the hospital, the victim died; no suspect description was immediately available
A 24-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday night on Detroit’s east side, police said.
The shooting was reported about 9:35 p.m. on the 1900 block of East Larned, said Officer Holly Lowe, a Detroit Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim, the 24-year-old man, had reportedly been shot multiple times, but when police arrived at the scene, he’d already been removed from the location and was en route to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police are investigating. No suspect description was immediately available, nor the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
