The games will be the first MLB regular-season contests to take place in Europe. The Red Sox will be the designated home team for both games.
MLB announced earlier this week that the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics will open the 2019 season with two games in Japan, and an “All-Star Tour” with Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan will take place over six games from Nov. 8-15.
